Unas preguntas: Mad Planet

1. Can you tell me a little bit about the new album that you're working on?
It's more focused. It crystallizes the Mad Planet sound which is characterized by deep bass and drum grooves with ambient sounds and melodic vocals. We are excited about it. We think it's going to connect with a lot of people.
2. What inspired you when writing?
Everything inspires us; life, emotions, other art.
3. Who would you like to have as a guest artist in next album/work?
Cooper- Will.I.Am
Greg- Alicia Keys or MartinaTopley Bird. We just saw Martina open for Massive Attack. She is incredible.
4. What is that motives you when you're playing to a live audience? How people react in your concerts?
Having a good time with each other playing music is what motivates us on stage; also, the energy of the audience. People are impressed with the sound we create on stage because it's just the two of us.
5. The musical globalization and Networks revolution from music lovers makes possible that people from Costa Rica and Spain know each other work and in fact make this little interview that in other circumstances would be impossible. How should this record labels, artist and music lovers interact? Don't you think a changed is necessary?
We think it's great. To be able to connect with and be inspired by artists/bands from all over the world is amazing. It's an exciting time to be an independent musician.
6. What do you think about Internet, specifically about digital downloads and social media such as Facebook, twitter, etc?
It's wonderful. We think it's so cool that we can interact with our fans so easily thru sites like MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter. It makes our relationship with our fans more personal. When we were growing up the only way to communicate with a band you liked was thru fan mail. Now, there areso many ways to connect with artists you like. It's cool.
7. Do you guys know any Latin American band or musical project?
We aren't too familiar with Latin American bands. However, we love good music and would like it if you could recommend some bands to us.
